Sad

I was sad for the Engineer when the Cleveland Indians traded his favorite player, Mark DeRosa, in June. Today I'm sad for both of us as Cliff Lee was traded.

I don't even know what we got for him, as I didn't have the heart to listen. Lee is the only thing Tribe fans had pulling them into the stadium this year. His story as a come back kid over the last couple of seasons made him the heart of the team.

You take hard knocks when you're in the cellar.

Today's the Day!

At 1:05 Cleveland time my radio will be on, school will be done for the day and I'll bring out my knitting. It is time for Baseball!

I suppose the forecast for 2 - 6 inches of snow around the radio station's listening area confirm that it is a good thing the Tribe is opening in Texas. Hopefully our weather will do that typical Cleveland thing and it will be 60 degrees and sunny for the home opener on Friday.
