Plantation life in Virginia during civil war times is a setting that has been used before, but the reviews at Amazon unanimously note that this story is exceptional and exceptionally well told.All three reviewers at the Amazon site give the book five of five stars. In particular, Indiana Jane explains why the writing draws the reader in to the story. I look forward to being drawn in myself!
