On the way home from a friend's house Thursday morning the kids and I saw a sign that made us laugh. A local German cultural organization had posted a sign advertising their Oktoberfest. The sign said:

While we were still regaining our composure we passed another sign. This one I did not point out to the kids. A local church's digital sign flashed the message:
Polka Mass
Aug. 3
Aug. 3
I can go for a good polka. Can you guess which one I might attend?

Love it! I saw a couple more signs on our trip than the ones I managed to take photos of for my blog . . . they're everywhere, aren't they?
