School Plans

Yesterday I was able to place the order for a school table. Hooray! Another step toward my goal of having a school room in the house. I cannot wait to move classes out of the dining room. After the table comes in I'll need to move a ton of books and do some re-arranging. It should be all set by the fall when I plan to begin K and 4th grade for my two students.

I'm pleased that I don't need to buy the Civil War Lit. Pack recommended in my reference book, The Well-Trained Mind by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise Bauer. Each of the books in the lit pack is available at my local public library and there are multiple copies of each. I'm sure I'll have access to them to begin the year, especially if I place my order with the library before the local public and Catholic schools begin classes.
