That’s a Kartoffeln she is carrying on the spoon : ) Were the instructions for the relay races given in German? Do they teach adults German at her school? Pastor and I were toying with the idea of learning the language. I had many years of German in high school and my senior paper was written in German…now I can hardly remember any words at all : (
Yes, a Kartoffeln, you are correct.
The instructions were given in German first and repeated in English if needed. The rambunctious boys were also reined in in German first then in English (it was needed)!
They do have two or maybe three levels of adult classes. They follow the school year von September bis Mai 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. That does make it hard to attend evening Lent and Advent services.
